Based in West Sussex, I am equipped to carry out a range of services for a wide variety of antique clocks, from basic cleaning, servicing and maintenance, to research and reinstatement of missing components and sub-mechanisms. All work is carried out using traditional skills and methods, but underpinned with modern materials science, in order to preserve both the historic narrative and the material authenticity of the object for years to come.
As an accredited member of both the Institute of Conservation (ICON) and the British Horological Institute (BHI), I ensure all work is carried out in line with both organisations’ Professional Standards and Codes of Conduct.
All work is fully guaranteed for twelve months, and includes delivery and set-up where required; I will also provide a free, no-obligation estimate before undertaking any work.
